Guest guest
Hi again, > To say " I think, therefore I am " is a misconception> Yes! This is a very misleading and incorrect statement. It is asserting what *binds* a ME to a ME. It is always and ever a *me* that thinks, that *can* think; it 'takes a me'. Descartes statement says that ( because there is a ) thinking ME is ( proof of ) 'I AM' The *thinking* is 'below' the '''existence'' > 'I AM' *and* this existence is not *dependent* upon it ( thinking ) What it says is this; I THINK ( i.e I am A ME ) / therefore I AM ( a ME ) Kind Regards, Scott
