Guest guest
Beyond Words There is appearance. Such seems indisputable. Does appearance imply an observer? Does appearance imply a *who* to whom appearance appears? But then one may as well ask: Does *implication* imply a who making such implication? If *all* is appearance, then any implication is appearance. So any *who* is only apparent. Or even less! It is only the *implication* of a who that is apparent. The who to whom appearance appears is presumably the " I " . The " I " is an abstraction. All abstractions are cognitions. And all cognitions are appearance. Without the notion " I " , what remains? What is unspeakable need not be understood in words. The purpose of words is to put themselves out of business. Bill
