Guest guest
Can you notice that when you react to anything, whatever you do, it is almost always your conditioning at work? It is 'your' knowledge. It is 'your' ideas. It is 'your' convictions. This is the ego in you. I am not saying that your knowledge, opinions, and feelings about things are wrong, I just say that they are conditionings. It is the whole *feeling* of 'you' I am describing as being the ego. You can notice this ego for example when you write a post, it is 'your' post and you have to defend it so you better make it look good. *Who* is the one that wants the post to be good. That's the ego! There is nothing wrong with knowing what is good and what is bad, but the conditioning in you makes you tense, contracted and defensive. That is the ego. You have to let go of that emotional/mental fist called 'me'. Why? Because you must wake up! The ego is not who you are. Well, the ego is a part of you yes, but you can loosen up that part a bit, loosen up the knot called 'you'. Why? Because the 'you' is a prison cell. You can decorate and think about this prison cell for the rest of your life, but it will remain a prison cell. Smash the cell. Smash it gently to dust. /AL
