Sadhana ,is must in order to understand his teaching

first do the " Sadhana " for numbers of years then comment on his

teaching

talking on his teaching with " Sadhana " " upasana " is something like

this

1st standard student is talking on PhD

 

first do as he says . just be with sense of being till you are self

realized

Maybe. But the best and quickest method to exhaust the intellect is

still: smashing ones head against the wall.

And yet, it may take years of pondering and doubt before discovering

this simple and beautiful truth.

Why take time to be in the " Time less state " ..

Why do something when the master says " do nothing " be still..

Why wait for some finit time when the master says the eternal is " here and now "

Why discuss and talk and refute... simply " Be "

Occasionally, you can find passages in I Am That, when Nis.makes

statements like " You won't *find* IT in the future because the Supreme Reality

is your true state. It is already here. " (I am paraphrasing, of course.) Or he

would occasionally say: " Just BE " or " Just rest in the I Am. " However, the

seekers who questioned him had diverse backgrounds and levels of sophistication

and experience in the spiritual search. Nis. replied to each questioner

according to what he or she needed to hear at that particular time. It was very

rare that he would say things like " do nothing " or " simply BE " as you said in

your letter.

 

Over and over again, Nis. emphasized the importance of earnestness

and complete dedication. moment by moment, to reach the non-dual " enlightened "

state. To the overwhelming majority of questioners, he stressed that the path

required time (in his case, a relatively short three years) and effort.
