Guest guest
Any action " initiated " by the self is self-centered..... be it robbing a bank....stopping smoking.......helping the poor.....or ...........searching for its self...... That's not a bad thing.... It is just hard-wired to survive......It is designed to seek pleasure....and to avoid pain. .........It's really a very interesting little creature........... And even if the nature of the interesting little creature is apperceived, who is to say that any of these movements would not continue? The creature is not separate from its movements. Sages most easily find their voice in circles of spiritual seekers.... but there is no reason why a bank robber cannot apperceive his existential wholeness........but who's he gonna tell? It's not that clear to me! Do you mean that a robber can apperceive his existential wholeness by him self, while robbing and killing etc. Alberto,

It's not that clear to me! Do you mean > that a robber can apperceive his existential wholeness by him self, > while robbing and killing etc. > Alberto, Of course.........any entity can apperceive that he or she is only playing a part...... a vital piece of the vastness....... that......is all that " awakening " really is. A bank robber who sees that without bank robbers.....there would be no banks.....no police.......no......anything.......and knows that his part is as important and unimportane and any other part.....has awakened. (consciousness seems to like the excitement of robbing banks.......and even pretending that it can kill its self........:-) ******************************************* When I was a child......I met an old Basque sheepherder...... My dad would take him supplies in the back country........... He didn't speak English......but when he looked at me.........I disappeared..... He was the Emptiness...Itself. An old.......Basque........sheepherder

I say: Man oh man! This is not awakening! This the teenager attitude man! I don't care about anything I don't give a & ?%$#@#%$ FTW attitude! This is absolutly not enlightenment. Enlightement is about knowing your true self and not about giving or not giving work to the police force or any department of that kind in society. If there is no police, there always be something else. I understand your answer. " Who " cares if I don't wash my teeth said the teenager. Well he should care, because it stinks! LOL This is not enlightement, it is the abc of morality in our society. Go tell a bouddha not to wash him self! Don't worry... he'll stink!!! (lol) Alberto, P.S. I'm not saying that you are wrong, but give me some meat here! ;0)))
