The monk said to himself. What is enlightenment!!! What is enlightenment!!! this man is a bouddha!!!! The moral; not everyone who say he's in love, is in Love and I love toast in the morning too!!! :0)! Danny man!! smilesss!!! If I can't control my legs, the legs bring me where ever they want! If I don't control my appetite, well I'll eat as much as my stomach can. If I can't control my mouth. When if I see a fat man in the street, I would tell him fatso! Because I can't control my mouth. It is the same with thoughts. Tought are not the Mind. Thoughts are toughts and it is the A B " C " in the process of awakening. C, not a not b but C nor beginner nor a bouddha yet. What is between two thoughts as Pete said in one of his messages. Is our true nature. We can see there, our nature, more revealed, more clear. Our true self. If you watch tv with an absolute dirty screen, how can you know the movie. You cannot see the movie clearly enough to comment about you true nature. The comments might be good. But from the point of view of a dirty screen. Don't ask someone who never been in Love what love is! He doesn't know! He is no dumb. He is not in love yet. He has not found love yet. That's all. So if you cannot stop your toughts enough time to see better you won't be able to see you true self well enough! And it is more than thought right after that. I'll post Pete's message for you to visualise what he said. Someone asked why there are so few enlightened man on this planet. It is because people like better watch football than to try to find his true self! Who cares, very very very few fellows and among them very few continue the process, until. The seventh stage of life like Ramana and nisargadatta and bouddha etc. :0) Ramana Doesn't like to think! (toughts) I red that, in one of his books! Guest guest
Hi again, > Yes, you can stop thoughts> >>> " you " cannot stop thoughts. as long as you want to stop thoughts.....>>> You, a ME can stop thoughts. >> As long as the Producer of the thoughts exists.. the stopper also exists>> The 'producer' ( receiver, we do not produce or create thoughts ) of the thoughts does not cease to exist or vanish, up until the time of physical death ( not considering life after death or incarnation ) >>and the So called meditator trying to stop thoughts...>> The so called meditator is a personal self, ME, ( you ). And every ME with a normal state of mental health can suspend the thinking process. >> On Investigating " Who is the Thinker??>> There is no *who* that can *know*. >Is he separate from the thought ???? all the three vanish.... >and there is no more talk of thoughtss....mind control ...stop thoughtss etc...>>> No, a ME, ( including ego ) does not vanish even in ''realized persons'', nor do thoughts vanish, unless they are suspended, and the suspending of thoughts can only be done by a ME. Kind Regards, Scott.
