Guest guest
Hello: The more hopeless and unbearable your life situation, the more inclined you will be to dive deep into yourself. Hoping to find there some value and meaning- well, more: to find there the conviction that nothing the world can offer has any value nor meaning. If you are satisfied or even happy with what you have just now, and not enlightened (yet), then Nisargadatta ‘s stuff is probably not for you. Of course a search for the Ultimate Truth could be conducted by a happy person, motivated by curiosity and love of truth only , but would such motivation generate enough energy and devotion for such a task? You would be lucky if it does. May I conclude thus that this group is (largely) a bunch of Desperates who nourish a Big Hope, whilst knowing that even this hope has to be abandoned, like all other attachments and desires?
