Guest guest
When mind finds that something has pulled it too close to the edge....or believes that its kingdom is under siege...it has a whole repertoire of survival skills at its disposal. It can change the focus of what it is experiencing.......It can make fun of the perceived attacker......It can throw stones.....or it can run...... It will do almost anything...... to avoid its own emptiness.......

Yes......its own. It is totally composed of its own thoughts about itself. The only thing.... that it owns.....is its own thought. The thing......that it fears the most...the origin of fear itself.....is its own.....thought of death...... It has no way of knowing......that it is already dead. Your mind has found a comfortable dead end with that formula of: " There is nothing I can do. I don't really exist. " But is there joy, is direct seeing there, is there courage, vitality, the bubbling of originality, or just the peace of the dead. Are you vibrantly alive, or peacefully dead, Tom? If you are just dead, don't try to lure others into your sepulcher, or at least wait for Halloween. ) Pete > > > > > > > > its " own " ???? > > > > Yes......its own. > > It is totally composed of its own thoughts about itself. > > The only thing.... that it owns.....is its own thought. > > The thing......that it fears the most...the origin of fear itself.....is its own.....thought of death...... > > It has no way of knowing......that it is already dead. But since mind does not have any autonomous existence, it cannot REALLY do all those things. It seems to do all this, as long as YOU (toom) THINK there is a mind and you THINK this is how the mind functions. Concepts are going on conceptualizing. Duluduludulu. From the view of consciousness itself those are all children games... Is the kingdom of YOUR mind under siege? So, then it all depends on which side you are standing... All the best Stefan
