I think the key is in this " seems " . " You seemed " to write this email and " I seem " to answer. etc... So, I sum up what you are saying: you are a machine that trusts consciousness although consciousness seems to mislead this machine and machines cannot trust. Honestly, I like you more like this than before!!! You know, you said somehow that you TRUST unconditionally. This is one very important step. Moreover your reasoning does not always follow logical laws. There is nothing wrong about an inconsistent mind... this exactly is its nature... haha! You are a human being, you are all right as you are. What can you do? Accept it! >>Do you trust? >I'm not sure, I keep trying to pin my self down to get some good >answers on things like that but it looks like i " m pretty slippery. I >just can't get a firm grip on myself. This could be because you are following a misconception. Maybe you should try - cant harm - some new hypothesis or thinking model. Maybe you ask some honest questions. And maybe - since this is a Nisargadatta board - have a look what the masters had to say about such things. Just suggestions, please dont feel offended. There is always help when you really want help. All the best Stefan
