Wow, I was just thinking that same thing today.

 

I was reading over many of the posts and my mind instantly tries to

pick out things that contradict itself. Sometimes I'm not able to

write what I'm trying to say & that in itself can have me writing

things that come out differently than what I really mean. yikes!

 

Well this very same thing confused me and I just came on now to ask

Devendra about the same thing you did. Here, I see Pete speaks the

same as me.

 

Devendra, your first post asks people for their ideas/experiences -

wondering what happened to them.

 

so, people gave their ideas. We may cognitively know we are all

fragmented and yet the fact is, my experiences will be different

then, say, Toombarus, because I'm a woman living in Canada...so, now

obviously it must follow that this will color the way we look at

things...which would follow we all have different ways of looking

even at the very same thing. Our words might in the end even all

agree with each other, but I noticed they sound different b/c we all

have different writing styles.

 

then, I go on to read how you didn't care for everybodies opinions,

comparing the forum to be like a Hyde park speakers corner zoo. (if

anyone hasn't been to speakers corner at hyde park in london,

england...on Sunday people get up on their soap box and preach their

ideas to anyone who will listen. It's known for being very

aggressive and heated.)

 

Then, further down I read your post and you ask people for their

ideas about genes and how genetics might fit into the scheme of

things.

 

At which point, many people responded giving ideas. Some from a

scientific approach, others not.

 

Then, I open a post where you say you think people are very heated

and think too much. You suggest that their little fingers keep

typing frantically. You see people's honest and sincere opinions as

being 'anger based' which is fine...that's your perception, however,

I see them as very sincerely exchanging ideas in a typing style that

is unique and their own style. I don't see anyone getting

mad...well,,,Alberto for awhile had a little god complex/ego tantrum

when he wanted off the board b/c it wasn't conforming to his idea of

what he learned enlightenment is all about.

Alberto is very dear though, and I have a great love for the ideas

he presents, and I know French Canadians so I know where their

coming from, so I get how his head works, & where he's coming from

on that issue. (french canada wants to separate from the rest of

canada and has a tendency of wanting their own way rather than

realizing we're all one country, so there is no doubt his cultural

upbringing has influenced him a great deal, & I love the french

canadians & totally get where he's coming from.) I truly love you

Alberto, I hope no offense is taken b/c none was meant to be given

at all...just my own sincere ideas which you may or may not agree

with.

 

The idea that we should all agree with each other is rather

juvenile, however I see the board as very supportive in differing

ideas (for the exception of the afore-mentioned case.)

 

As I stepped back and took a good long look at the board I realized

that most of the posts were Devendra - coolasafool.

There's no problem in posting lots, that's just fine...however, can

you see the complete contradictions in your words and messages here?

 

I'm thinking Ablerto's right...we need more smiley faces after our

messages, computers are hard places to exchange conversations, so

smiley's may just convey the mood.

However, Pete's got an even better idea -- why not just throw out

the ego and just express what comes to you, or as I say, " say what

you mean " . No one on this board is purposelly trying to be hurtful

or mean, just sharing ideas.

 

I only gave my ideas in the first place because you asked for them.

Now I'm not sure if you really want them? Or do you just want ideas

that fit with yours? Ones that you agree with? Many people are like

that, the only ideas that are good ideas are the one's that fit in

with their our own. It's been the reason for many a war.

yes clarification is reqd. here....becoz my posts have

been ranging from plus infinity to minus infinity.

 

pete and friends i clarify below.

 

my opening post was challenge...an open intellectual

challenge to the Balsekarites.the other say 10-15

posts were also challenges..

 

i asked about programming, i abused

balsekar,..etc.etc.

the intention was to provoke balsekarites .becoz i

know for sure that there is no substance in his school

of thought as it does not come from realization..and

is mere intellectual jugglery.

i know intuitvely.

 

my wildly swaying opinions bring out one vital

point--nothing can be acheived by endless

argumentation or intellectual tomfoolery.....

for proving thru reasoning's sake GOD can be equally

forcefully proven or for that matter disproven...so

dont lay a great emphasis on the intellect.

you might have notice i have done a complte 180 degree

about turn since i joined.

 

 

there is no holier-than-thou or i-know-best attitude

here.simply self-belief...and more importantly belief

in the MASTERS and their WORD.

 

after i found that no one was picking up the gauntlet

i came out in the open..and i have been posting with

my true convictions since then.

 

well the way toombarus goes about his way - he gets

negative mails from everyone and so i too wrote him to

excuse his little fingers for some time.

he indeed was looking lost in Hyde park to me...so i

used my " Vedanta " Stick..i dont have a Zen stick you

see....

case..i said im not going to further respond.but that

i dont like the word TEACH..but truly i have come to

been twice to his place...i have offered unhesitant

i have written emails to him..which never got a

reply...i have called him up at his house and

requested him to thow his untraditional torch on

" Mandukya Karika " ..but he said he is simply not

in fact i am reading Jiddus life currently.

but i have to fight my case..he/they will fight his.

 

hope there is no confusion about what devendra is and

what he stands for.

but where am i saying that you shud listen to me...can i force

most of the posts are from devendra becoz that is your vision most

posts are also from a person called toombaru.

the posts are a dialog and not a monologue.some wants to speak to

me..or i want to and so it goes...
