Guest guest
bye friends.. i leave now.my visit was brief but fulfilling. it was a catharisis. my background is - im a telecom engineer.im 30. i was keen on embracing formal Vedantic monkhood..but somehow it was not to be; partly becoz i was thrown off-balance by Balsekar. ...the time is gone, the song is over..thought i had some thing more to say-Pink Floyd. so,..it was catharitic for me. nothing sentimental..i leave for selfish reasons-i am not able to devote much time and have pressing professional reasons...being a passionate man this list is eating into my time.and moreover- this list is not very satisfying to me-im not " gaining " much...pretty much routine and kindergarten stuff..i rejoice in the words/lives of the MASTERS..for me that is satsang.yes alberto you were right -im one of those who keep jumping from lists to lists:-). Donny..you mentioned somewhere that you dont like people being nice to you and you'd rather have it straight..hope i have been straight enough with you:-). i am passionate,i am arrogant,i get angry ..i am human..i am an aspirer after the vedantic ideal..i am not a pretender...i dont say i have realised the truth of advaita when in fact my every breath says the contrary. THERE IS A WAY.THE MASTERS HAVE SHOWN IT.STRUGGLE IS REQUIRED.BUT IT NEED NOT BE TAKEN AS A BURDEN.THE FULL STOP IS THE MASTERS WORD.INTELLECT CANNOT JUMP OUT OF ITSELF-AN ENDLESS CIRCLE IT IS. Steve..all the best to you..take care and enjoy yourself. Hur Guler-the eternal witness:-) i know you read the stuff posted...your board is a wonderful homage to the sage.my humble pranams to you. alberto-use your stick more on yourself. This is not a alberto's goodbye.:-)Take care and god bless. Who else but Nisargadatta at the end.... " " Within the prison of your world appears a man who tells you that the world of painful contradictions, which you have created, is neither continuous nor permanent and is based on a misapprehension. He pleads with you to get out of it, by the same way by which you got into it. You got into it by forgetting what you are and you will get out of it by knowing yourself as you are. " " The seeker is he who is in search of himself. Give up all questions except one: 'Who am I?' After all, the only fact you are sure of is that you are. The 'I am' is certain. The 'I am this' is not. STRUGGLE to find out what you are in reality. "
