But notice that it transcends serene. The child doesn't deviate from it when s/he cries. The child doesn't treasure it, or wants to go back to it if it's not there. The perspective comes and goes as it pleases. A man of God, trying to hold to it, would still be deluded by the thought that he is an entity who could hold on to something. If this perspective is anything, it is the freedom to perceive without the division of the perceived and perceiver. So you see... the moment the notion of anyone holding to it enters the picture, the perspective is gone. Pete

Are fingers the only instrument of > touch? There appears to be a material world.... into which the conceptual mind mysteriously emerges.......this phenomenon...(the Identified entity) ......conceptualizes its perceptions.....and creates an isolated world view....a closed....self-referential....second- hand dream world...in which it is the gravitational center. It can remain somewhat centered as long as its perceptions reflect its actual physical experience.......It seems to get off track, however, when it mistakes its non-material speculations......spiritual...philosophical...social,,etc.....for reality. It is.............a very odd little creature............indeed. Thank goodness the solar system is self-cleaning.....:-)
