P: No, it's not teasing with me. Toom, is caught in a trap,

he can't get out because he loves his trap too much.

Just like Elvis. Matter of fact, he's stuck in a very

complex trap.

He is caught by the trap that there is nothing that can

be done. He is caught in the trap that he doesn't believe

this is a trap. He is caught in the trap that he is

comfortable in his trap. And finally, he is caught in

the trap of the gushing mind. All those snippets flow

out of his brain so easily, they are so colorful,

they seem so wise that he believes that just because

they keep coming, he has attained something.

He is fooling himself by imagining his absence, while

he keeps his nonstop posting up.

Of course, he won't believe any of this, that's part

of the trap too. :))

>>>>>>>>>>>

Who can say he/she is not stuck in such a trap...

The premise of the above seems to be that one

is either in or not in such a trap.

The nature of the moment is complete uncertainty.

The moment there is an assessment that such-and-such

is the case the uncertainty collapses and one is not

in the moment.

What I like about toombaru's writings (and caveat here

as I have been away for some time, so maybe my

impressions are not current) is their open-endedness.

The way they provoke ambiguity.

I don't get the feeling that toombaru is saying " this is

the way it is " in his remarks. I see his remarks as little

goads and probes. Because they are open-ended they

allow others to respond in may different ways... they

can be taken in a number of different directions.

My two pence...

Bill

Hey Pete! Ha ha ha! You have eagle eyes!! You can see the mouse from

the top of the mountain! :0) lol

You discribe his situation very well!! Yes Tell, Elvis to wake up!

He wants to continue dreaming that he is the " KING " and that the

road ends with him. You give a 1$ to a poor guy and he thinks he is

millionaire!! lol

Did you really said that above Toombaru?:

You guys don't seem to agree with the thoughts that old

> > toombaru brings up......(that are brought up....by

> > consciousness....... using his fingers

Ramana would not be proud of you Toomb, he gives you Freedom and you

take a nice comfortable trap? :0

and of course Pete he will deny everything to keep his trap!

.......non-stop posting? Have you " Grandpas " nothing to do in the

backyard, now, that it is autumn. " Grandma " , perhaps, could profit

of a little help with the household or some other " nice " things :))

It's time to rock 'n roll!

BTW, Pete, " was sich liebt, das neckt sich! " , ol' german proverb!

Who said you didn't? :)

What I said was, testing someone, doesn't disprove love, on the

contrary. People here, might think I don't like those I give

a hard time. The opposite is true.

Lol. When I write the word God, it's always metaphorical,

each time the meaning changes with the contex of the paragraph.

Probably, the word doesn't have the exact meaning for everyone.

Probably, few really know what the word even means to them. It

could be the word, in reality, points more toward a cluster of

feelings, experiences and intuitions.

So, in the phrase below the metaphore simply means that suffering

is, if not the best guru, the most efficient one. And usually, does

who live a pampered and happy life, learn little.
