Guest guest
you. There is no such thing as pure awareness. devi: i think i remember reading that nisargaddata says that pure awareness is beyond consciousness...are you hear to refute what nisargadatta says? you; There is no such THING as pure awareness..... devi: nisargadatta says that Pure Awareness is beyond Consciousness you; " Things " exist only in relationship with each other......within the milieu of conceptual consciousness. Who knows what Nisargadatta meant by " Pure Awareness " ..... devi: i know what he meant by Pure Awareness and i know what he meant by consciousness but if it is beyond consciousness.....it is beyond thought. devi: yes, that is obvious to anyone who's been studying *in the *spiritual realms*.. you; He tells us that....the " I am " is the door by which we entered this world....and the door by which we leave........ you; There is a trap in taking his words .....that have been translated and transcribed....too literally....... devi: my opinion is to take his words very literally> you: Thought is ultimately grossly inadequate in discovering its own origins and destiny.. devi:i agree with that you:.and that is the only tool available...... devi: that i wouldn't be so sure to say...
