Guest guest
In my opinion Advaita and Buddhism's ideas are trading well. Yet, trading wrong ideas for better ones is not enough to change your life. To have the right concepts in your spiritual portfolio, is not enough. Enough to conquer suffering, to perceive rightly, to live joyfully, to be free from the tyranny of your ego's self-importance. Only letting the mind slow down, subside, and sink into the completely unknown, dark, silent presence of true nature would radically change your life. I am just wondering what those Buddhism and Advaita ideas or concepts are? And how can a concept ever be called " right " ? It never occoured to me to consider those traditions as ideas or concepts. Rather they are forces, urging us to abandon all ideas and concepts. >Enough to conquer suffering, >to perceive rightly, to live joyfully, >to be free from the tyranny of your >ego's self-importance. Dont try to conquer something that just has to be looked at to disappear. Dont try to do something " rightely " when there is no " right or wrong " . Dont fight what is your very self-important nature. You will become only more and even more tense. >Only letting the mind slow down, >subside, and sink into the completely >unknown, dark, silent presence of >true nature would radically change >your life. Maybe slowing down the mind is not such a good idea? Sinking into the dark deep sleep of ignorance could make you simply forget who you are. Why not sharpen your mind and go on full speed... maybe then you will be able to cut the ropes that are binding you and you can face the light. S.
