November (for the northern hemisphere)

 

November is traditionaly considered the month of the

deceased. It is so because Nature seems to die a

little: days gets shorter, humid and cold; trees come

into leaf; fields are barren, nothing grow in them.

 

But we know that Nature doesn't die, but rests; it

withdraws, and gathers patiently within itself the

strength that will explode into life next spring.

 

It is time to withdraw, time to reflect. We can take

shelter in the semi-darkness and silence to meditate,

to fill ourselves with the tranquility present in the

air.
