Guest guest
Dear List, See if you can discover the unitary perception at an interesting simulation site. http://www.ritsumei.ac.jp/~akitaoka/umi2.gif What it all boils down to is that one's sense of self is illusory, in that it's something that appears to be there when the mind is caught up in becoming, in movement, chasing desires.... When you're exhausted, tired of chasing butterflies, you slow down a bit, take a rest and remain in stillnes. Now listen to the sound of silence (Hear) and gaze at infinity (See). Hey presto where did it all go ? Where did the waving 'self' go ? You were simply clouded by the wavering mind, overwhelmed by restlessness, having been bombarded and motivated by senseless demands imposed from without since early childhood. Forget what the authorities, the gurus out there say. It's much simpler than volumes of discourses, free of charge . This is the real taste of freedom. Always abide as *That* whether apparent situations or conditions arise or not. ...Really there's nothing to understand, but the irony is that you may need to read volumes or even libraries before this simple understanding dawns. See U'all and do have a festive season. -dave The all-new My - What will yours do?
