Guest guest
Transcript of A Brief Audiotape Interview with Nicky Thomas. Interviewer: It has been reported that you are enlightened and it would be of great interest to others if you could describe your everyday experiences. For example, what is like for you to walk down a busy city street? Nicky: Walking down a busy city street? Well, this is a studio and not a busy street. Something may get done if a walk is taken. I: Er., I see okay, Never mind. Let's explore, if you don't mind, you internal life. How do you see things? I mean, do you see things differently than others? N: What things are being referred to? I: Okay, for example, what do you think and feel about the Iraq War? N: Darkness, confusion, struggle, suffering, greed, bitterness, fear, blindness, anger, hatred, domination, deception, coldness, heartlessness, fighting, killing, destruction, terror, torture, exhaustion, maiming, loss, sadness, crying, pain, anguish, hopelessness, hope, light, serenity, compassion, darkness, confusion......Like that. I: Oh... Well, what should be done about the war in Iraq.? N: What is being done. I: And what is that? N: All that is going on at the present moment. I: Ok, what will you do about it? N: Live. I: What does that mean? N: To be and do as required each moment. I: What do you mean? N: To be here communicating. That is what is being done at the moment.. I: I see, well one more question. What is like to be you inside? N: It is like speaking freely and effortlessly after fully realizing the impossibility of ever knowing how speaking is done and without ever wondering again how words are formed into sounds, words and sentences that have various meanings. I: Thank you. N: Thanks.
