Hey Werner,

 

Don't let Lewis fools you. He says what you say,

he says what I say. He says it, with lot's of sugar on top,

so toddlers will eat it, he says it with Latin and

Sanskrit polysyllables, and complex compound

sentences so college graduates find it tasteful.

No matter how he says, he says it well,

and even those who get indigestion like the

cook. Everybody loves Raymond, I mean Lewis.

 

What he serves is very simple, under all the

trimmings and the yummy sauce:

'What is' can't be explained, or understood.

All explanations are provisional, walking

canes for the blind, until they see (or

rather learn to trust the dark.) When the

very notion of falling goes, fear goes,

the verbal cane with which they prove the

unknown goes and they boldly walk into

the dark.

 

The monk asked the master, " When will

I realize? "

 

" When you swallow the Eastern ocean in one gulp. "

 

In other words, when you swallow 'what is' whole,

without cutting it up with explanations.
