Guest guest
A headless roach can move its legs, it can walk in circles for quite a while. Some people, who have, or think they have achieved freedom from entification, can behave, sometimes, like a headless roach. Even when a brain is free from the delusion of being an entity, the mechanisms which protected that delusion are still there, and will spring into action automatically. It will happen, if the brain is not vigilant. In this way, posters A and B, who are free from this delusion, exchange emails about how best to spread this knowledge. The first emails are cordial and lucid, then one runs out of arguments, the instinct to win, the instinct to protect the identity the brain no longer holds, engages, and he starts defending and attacking. The defense could be very subtle, like changing from reasoning to pointing, like using poetry, instead of arguments. The other doesn't notice the diversion and responds with more pointing. Soon, the whole thread becomes a joke fueled only by the need to win in the name of an entity neither believes exists. If a third party calls attention to this behavior, it could very well be, both or only one of the contestants will post a long justification of his behaviour rather than admit it and study it. Unfortunately, these headless roach mechanisms are never completely inactivated because they are needed for the survival of the body. The most we can hope for, is that we are alert enough not to let them run amock at the service of beliefs, self images, pride, and the need for victory. It's OK to be defeated, it's OK to be wrong, It's even OK to be a headless roach once in a while. Relax, you can't control other people's opinions of the entity they think you are. If you know you are not one, then don't act like one. It's very amusing to spot a headless roach, even more so, in front of a mirror. Question: Did you bring Lewis around here? There is freshness there, even if I do get a bit of a headache trying to get through it all ;-) The main thing I want to know from Lewis is why he wants to be " conned " . Maybe he won't read this and I should ask him directly. Thanks for coming through with That story, Pete, ~ ~freyja > >

You say it is OK... but still you are seeing this mechanism as a shortcoming ( " unfortunately... " )? You are playing with words and are trapped in your own inevitable trap. And it is " OK " , not only once in a while. The only way to be clever is to be trapped. Such mechanisms are natural and absolutely inevitable. They are not only " OK once in a while " ... Who is in the position for such justifications? The trap is saying " it is sometimes OK to trap? " . Ha! There is nothing that can be changed. A trap is there to trap. The problem lies somewhere else. >Relax, you can't control other people's >opinions of the entity they think you are. And relax even more, because you cannot control your own opinion about others either. >If you know you are not one, then don't act like one. If one knows all that he is not... then there is no actor left. >It's very amusing to spot a headless roach, even >more so, in front of a mirror. LOL missing parts not changing anything... mirrored heads and legs and arms crawling on mirrors... calling this scenario " the world " ... sometimes even being amused... He has been around other lists, under another name, I believe, and in a less effective mode. But he will tell about that if he wants. > There is freshness there, > even if I do get a bit of a headache > trying to get through it all ;-) > P: Yes Lewis is connected. Very few have such clear connection as him. Probably I'm prejudice in his favor because I feel, we hold a similar perspective on things. > > >The main thing I want to know > from Lewis is why he wants to > >be " conned " . I can change names and identities here in the open. I am here to be with others as we are to do as we are without reservation as pigeons do drinking with head down flocking at times and going in the way we do alone.
