What is liberation?

Liberation is freedom from suffering, all forms of suffering. Physical

pain and emotional suffering has to go, has to be obliterated.

Physical pain is conflict on the material level. Emotional suffering

is conflict on the level of thought. Both are related.

What to do? Recognize the suffering in you and let it burn itself up -

all of it. How? Know that all there is is now. Freedom is now, and

suffering is now. Choose freedom. Choose freedom now, not in the

future. There cannot be any freedom in the future. Your intellect will

tell you that the future is important. In this way your suffering will

continue. Is the future unimportant? No. The future is neither

important nor unimportant. What is important is how you relate to the

future.

you talk like a preacher AL, do you mean you are liberated and on a

mission to liberate the crowds or yo formulate it as to rehearse for

yourself and see if it holds the test of the merciless debators on

this list?

By all means Eric, bring on your wisdom. I just wanted to write some

stuff to see what would happen.

i approve this, i do the same, i don't deal with introverted thoughts

when they stick, i submit them to the wisdom of the crowds instead.

I think it is good to stick one's nose out so that one can observe the

response and one's reactions to that response. Like: " hey, look at my

ego, how strong it is.....and ooups! how very scared I am in the

tender depths of my own heart. " :)
