The bring us the FIRST question: Why did you start your spiritual search, inquiry, pursuit, investigation ...in the first Place? What started it? What is sustaining it? Why you participate on `spiritual' lists, Now ...? is your only idea to chat or maybe to " show " how much you know ...and how wise you are ? Are the `spiritual' groups just your favorite chatter box, entertainment and pastime for you, ...or, is there some other purpose? ....I guess, that can be an `honest' question to anyone. If we are honest, sincere and willing enough to consider, ask and openly answer it. With warm regards, ac. ========== . . . ===========
Guest guest
Hey AC -- These are good questions. Maybe others will answer them sincerely too. I wanted answers to what life was about... power... and an everlasting feeling of well-being, pleasure and happiness. What sustains it now? To be honest, there's an interest in reconfirming my views, I've noticed. I read zen stuff and nonduality, and say, Oh I get that, I know that. Of course, I really don't. I don't seem to really know anything... which, sounds like crap too. I don't have any questions now nor feel like I'm searching for something metaphysical. My wants are more mundane -- friends, good food and drink, etc. > > > Why you participate on `spiritual' lists, Now ...? To pass the time. I enjoy the intellectual sparring, to be honest. :- ) > > is your only idea to chat or maybe to " show " how much you know ...and > how wise you are ? I find it unfortunate I come across that way. I do like to chat and I like the aesthetics of sparring about this stuff... I like the way images come to my mind and words and concepts and I write them down. I don't want to be seen as arrogant, but sometimes I come across that way. > > Are the `spiritual' groups just your favorite chatter box, > entertainment and pastime for you, ...or, is there some other purpose? > > > ...I guess, that can be an `honest' question to anyone. It was just a GENERAL comment, Joe. It was not a remark on you. I don't think, you come too much like that. >I do like to chat and I > like the aesthetics of sparring about this stuff...
