Perhaps if it is expressed, there may be something to be learned. Asserting it or denying it is not problematic. Some questions could be: Is the negation of " I AM " a negation of " I AM " as it is or is it a negation of something else? How does one tell the difference? What is I AM. How is I AM to be demonstrated as not being a concept, a dream, a delusion held, cherished? - A bucket with a bottom. Can it be demonstrated by the concept of " awareness? " Can it be demonstrated in language and concept? Is demonstration a futility? If so why is there talk of it? And: Is the positing of no self, no thing, no one as it is, or is it a assertion of something else? How does one tell the difference? What is NO SELF? How can NO SELF be demonstrated? Can it be demonstrated by pointing to THAT or THIS or HERE or WHAT IS? Can it be demonstrated by denying every thing existence in language and concept and fall into nihilism and pronoun dropping while an appearance is writing and posting? - No bucket, no bottom, no thing. Can it be demonstrated by the concept " emptiness? " Can it be demonstrated in language and concept? Is demonstration a futility? If so why is there talk of it? And: What other frames for this age old battle are there? Can other questions be asked? Is it all a futility? A comedy of errors and misapprehensions? The ultimate truth in front of the eyes? Both? Neither? Other? Canceling out? (Freyja)
