Guest guest
" The seekers in his searching comes to a river. Across the river a yogi is in deep contemplation. The seeker calls out to him, " Can you help me get to the other side.? " The yogi looks up from his meditation and replies, " You're on the other side. " As long as we believe that we will find something to fill our emptines and quench our pain, explain the paradox of life and assuage its vagaries, give us substance and meaning, we will fill our days with the quixoitic spiritual search. This relationship to life may have the trappings of the spiritual, but its essentially self- centered. It is not a search for the dissolution of self or even the integration of self, but the expression of narcissism in its most duplicitous form. -- Steven Harrison, " The Questions to Life's Answers "
