Guest guest
PLAY --> STOP this reactive tape-loop – the commentator talking endlessly (to himself) always attempting to fit the moment to moment buzz of reality into what is known, what was read into prior knowledge. amazing, it has a life of its own! even " mindfulness " is part of this spontaneous reactive organism there's no room for a center for a decider – for central-control. it's sad – in a way the commentator reeks of death a flow of debris. a huge dumping of garbage at the source of a long winding river as one stands on the bank a mile downstream the debris flows by. it's like listening to conversations through the wall taking place in the hotel room next to mine. at first, i listen and react: annoyed, interested, soaking up the drama of it all. but, wait – it's just that the tv has been left on! how boring and uninteresting. what i thought was so, what i have become attached to is not really there. it's not quite like i thought it was. the tv is still on but there's no longer any interest in the content of the shows. i am the commentator. i am the reactive tape loop, endlessly playing. someone pressed PLAY a long time ago and it's still running. STOP is the last beat of the heart the final breath exhaled.
