Guest guest
If you would feel too good then you would become content with anything, - you would even be content laying in a coffin doing nothing. Life is not about doing nothing. The goal of life is not a blank Nirvana where you are happy being nobody. The strong feeling you have about being somebody is life. It is the seed of life. To be somebody equals meaning and to experience things, interesting things is an important part of that package. That's the beauty of life. Immense complexity, and an extreme requirement is put on life by the human mind (which is also life) to become enjoyed, to be entertained. The bad news is: you are not happy. To not be content laying in a dark coffin is intelligence. To expect interesting stuff, to demand variation is also intelligence. The problem is that the human intellect has run away on its own, into its own world that, even though being perfect, is utterly limited and what is worse: the world that the intellect creates is just a thought/emotion world, a shallow shadow compare to the liveness and real substace in the moment. Therefore, you have to strike a balance between being content with nothing and demanding everything in the form of thoughts. /AL
