The 'prestidigitateur'

There are those amongst us who are not only enamored of their lips

and tongues, but use them to great personal advantage, first by

teaching their hands and fingers to do their frequent bidding from

afar, and then by instructing those handmaidens to erect elaborately

decorated and quite impenetrable walls around their own heads,

wherein they live, breathe and have their questionable being.

 

" The real issue here is not if Fred or Mary was enlightened or not.

(She wasn't....... by the way) " ...

 

The real issue here, is why does someone on their way to an important

appointment, at every step of the way, bend over, and await someone

to shove a fist up their exposed arse, just so they can squeal in

glee, yet again, knowing full-well beforehand, that their seemingly

quite insane activity will necessarily make them late for that

important appointment?

 

You'd think they'd forgotten about that appointment, but it's all

just a subterfuge, a distraction for the audience, concocted by

themselves alone for themselves alone, because knowing they will

never make it to that appointment, they require a satisfactory

rationalization for that failure.

 

Thus, does the 'prestidigitateur' fake even himself out, and smiles

while doing it.
