But the mind can't receive its own nonbeing. Its nonbeing isn't something it knows, it is its dissolution. And the mind can't intentionally dissolve, e.g., through drugs, meditation, or following a guru - because all it is, is the attempt to hold a center of knowing and knowledge. It always finds a way to keep the attempt going, through having the right guru, or the greatest experience, or the most strongly self-imposed peace, or whatever. Therefore, the mind, if honest, stops avoiding its own intent and activity, is now clear that its survival depends on ongoing ignorance -- ignore-ance that there is no foothold for mind as existent, even now. -- D. In nondual logic there is no such thing as nonbeing.
