Guest guest
In order to enjoy a movie, really enjoy it, you have to " suspend your disbelief. " In order to enjoy life, really enjoy it, you have to " suspend your belief. " In order to enjoy consciousness, really enjoy it, you have to start thinking, really thinking about it. Can you explain what you mean by suspending belief. I can see in myself that sometimes I am thinking in my usual way and sometimes I am aware of myself thinking. The second type of thinking feels more " aware " . But is there a third kind of thinking, a kind of thinking not guided by beliefs, not guided by past ideas; both " true " ideas such as " today its Sunday " , and false ideas such as " Santa Claus exists " ? /AL
