N passed the Nath to Jeanne Dunn? What's that all about. PLEASE explain. And also, who is Ngedon? As far as Wolinsky goes, I definitely relate to the " entrepreneurial " comment but I THOUGHT Ramesh was and IS N's " duly appointed " successor. N passed the Nath to Jeanne Dunn? What's that all > about. PLEASE explain. And also, who is Ngedon? Am hoping Hur or anyone around Nisargadatta's teachings longer would be able to expand. As far as i know, the only reference to this is from the Amazon blurb on Ngeton's book, " An Affair of the Heart " . " In the '70s,Nisargadatta's teachings became widely known in the West through the publishing of his collected talks, I AM THAT. In 1981 Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj passed the lineage to his devotee Jean Dunn, who further made available the master's teachings in the books SEEDS OF CONCIOUSNESS, PRIOR TO CONCIOUSNESS, and CONCIOUSNESS AND THE ABSOLUTE. " Prior to Jean Dunn's death in 1996, she aknowledged Ngeton's full awakening and bestowed upon her the spiritual lineage of the Tantrik Naths-along with instructions to continue to make the teachings accessible. Ngeton cuts through concepts with penatrating insight, uncompromising truth and great humor. This new point of view enables one to integrate pure Advaita (non dualism) into daily life, supporting continuous awakening,moment-to-moment. " That's it, all i'm aware of. Am hoping, again, one of the more seasoned members here might have something to add. > > As far as Wolinsky goes, I definitely relate to > the " entrepreneurial " comment but I THOUGHT Ramesh was and IS > N's " duly appointed " successor. Interesting, isn't it? I was thinking of the term " self-effacED " in relation to Dunn. Can no longer recall how i gained the impression Dunn spent her final time in a trailer park in Arizona (perhaps after SNM sent her to the States to arrange publication for one of the books?) > > Yours devotedly, > > Swami G :-))
