I'm not putting down an ordinary mind (I have one myself), but notice, if you will, the words attributed to N and those of Lewis (and others too). The words may be similar, the same, or whatever, it does NOT make a difference. The words of N have POWER! They cut to the quick. The bring one's full attention to the fore. The words of L and others, on the other hand, have no power whatsoever. Even if the concepts are the same, the phrasing is similar, same cadence, etc. and whatever, no matter what: it's empty of the force, conviction, energy of N's words. It is said that Jesus spoke with AUTHORITY and not like the Scribes or Pharisees. I think that's what we're seeing here.

The last remark I did not get... what are we seeing here? Anyway, I find it amazing that you publicly declare that you judge the postings of others on this list by comparison of their tone to Nisargadattas tone. I guess you assume that your tone, or Petes tone, are closer to Nisargadattas tone than Lewis tone? Well, to me your tones sounds just like some frustrated whining, but thats only my momentary subjective impression. On the other hand, I am glad to finally meet somebody here on this list who has met Nisargadatta personally. His tone must have left an unforgettable imprint in you. I guess you met him in one of his extrovert phases. When was this? Still, I would like to give you a simple advice. If you dont like someones tone, it might simply be that your chemistry does not mix. It might be that your desire to be entertained is not served. If this is your problem, just ignore him. There are so many postings on this list, enough left for you. I am ignoring two third of the postings here. Just too boring for me. But why should I complain? What is boring for me might be exciting for others. Is it so bad if someone does not sound like Nisargadatta that you have to attack him and even complain ?? Is it such a big thing, if Mr. garyfalk1943 or Mr. Pete feel bored by someones postings? Or is there still something that bothers you, besides that? Hmmmmm?
