Guest guest
1. What is brain ? 2. How Awareness is linked with brain? Who comes first, ...Brain or Awareness! Brain can not precede Awareness as how the brain itself gets created. 3. What and where is Awareness? It can not possibly be property of any matter? If it is a property of matter then which One and how? 4. How and when the brain and Awareness gets connected ...at the time of conception, soon afterwards, ...when? Or is it always There? 5. Further, all matter including cells, neurons, body and brain is essentially made up of just few `common' particles. ...where, then is Awareness ? Why a brain essentially made-up of same basic elements, ... becomes and behaves different than Stone ?

Ken Wilber has a nice model consisting of four quadrants: Upper-Left: Interior, Individual (emotions, thoughts, awareness, ...) Upper-Right: Exterior, Individual (body, brain, brain-waves, hormones...) Lower-Left: Interior, Collective (culture, morals, values, ideas, ...) Lower-Right: Exterior, Collective (society, laws, institutions, infrastructure, ...) See: http://www.imprint.co.uk/Wilber.htm /AL
