P: Arvind the neutrino has no electrical charge, that's why is called

neutrino.

Ancients said, ...Consciousness is All !

From Consciousness is energy ...

....and, entire matter world is just the play of Energy ...

Coming together, ...moving apart ...

different configuration, ...different proportions ...

Scientists discovered matter word from a tiny atom to vast galaxies

is almost all empty ...

....just few energy waves moving, dancing, oscillating ...

They even formulated some extremely tiny energy particles named

Neutrino ...

....that changes from negative to positive to Neutral any

time, ...several times during their journey ...!!!

NOW, ...all they need is a proof, an evidence of Consciousness,

....a thought `DIRECTLY' causing an Energy Wave ...

....even a tiniest, faintest One ...

....and, then the Cycle is really Complete!!!

Yes, Pete.

I think, I confused spin with charge and the name `electron neutrino'

added to confusion.

Here are some good links on them.

Under the Standard Model, neutrinos come in three flavors: electron,

muon, and tau neutrinos. Electron neutrinos are by far the most

common and are produced within the core of the sun (and in

supernovae) at the rate of more than two hundred trillion trillion

every second. For more than 30 years, experimenters have been able to

measure far fewer solar neutrinos than they should have detected,

based on what we know about thermonuclear reactions. SNO changed that

by being the first neutrino telescope sensitive enough to

simultaneously measure all three neutrino flavors.

.........

Currently, the solar neutrino problem is believed to have resulted

from an inadequate understanding of the properties of neutrinos.

According to the Standard Model of particle physics, there are three

different kinds of neutrinos: electron-neutrinos (which are the ones

produced in the sun and the ones detected by the above-mentioned

experiments), muon-neutrinos, and tau-neutrinos. In the 1970s, it was

widely believed that neutrinos were massless and their types were

invariant. However, theoreticians in the 1980s realized that if

neutrinos had mass then they could change from one type to another.

Thus the " missing " solar neutrinos could be electron-neutrinos which

changed into other types along the way to Earth and therefore escaped

detection.
