Guest guest
> Devi: i really want to know if awareness dies when the brain dies? Swami-Whose-Name-Keeps=-Expanding: Really? You want to know this and imagine that werner or any of these guys can help you find out. J: Pete and Werner of the Modern Man's Brain Club has it all down to awareness is located in the brain. I think Devi was just curious as to what they would imagine happens when the brain dies - assuming it hasn't already. Or perhaps they imagine their brain to be immortal. I hear someone has Einstein's brain in a jar but I don't think its cranking out theories anymore. S:The whole exercise is pointless. J: As are all exercises - but whats wrong with pointlessness? S: Forget the question. SEE who's asking it. J: So what do you see when you ask others to see whose asking?

You want to know this and imagine that werner or any of these guys can help you find out. For what purpose? The whole exercise is pointless. From the Bhakti point of view, it doesn't matter even one iota. From the point of view of Jnana, the question itself is meaningless. Forget the question. SEE who's asking it.
