Howdy Friends,

Andrew Vernon has a website pertaining to Nisargadatta's co-disciple and also

their teacher. He says, The final understanding is final because it is the

understanding that there is nothing that needs to be understood. The goal is to

realize the Self, not to understand any particular concept.

Peace,

Richard

The imaginary world of " goals " ...(with its assumption of volitional

action)....realization of Self...(with its implicit separation).... " nothing to

be understood " ....(with rests on the belief of one who can understand)...are all

only more...sophomoric conceptual flounderings.

just...another dead end.....in the fevered dream.

So the final understanding is that there is no final understanding? I

am confused. What's the purpose of such understanding?
