J: Seekers versas Avoiders would be good.

J: " Pointlessness " may be word with a negative charge.

Here's a Sri Niz quote to get started:

" I don't ask anybody to follow any particular

path [of discipline]. I just tell them to

be what they are, in their natural, spontaneous

state. Stabilize there, in the beingness " .

So then, folks could reflect and figger out what those

words may mean to them - and see if they find

this possible, impossible or what - generally explore

and observe as self- research. To me a clue

is the word " relax " .

I doubt that anyone can get this " wrong " and there

wouldn't be anything to argue about. There may be a

question about certainty - recognizing this " natural spontaneous

state " and remaining or stabilizing here both when mind

is at rest and active.

Let's have two teams: The Gravely Serious Seekers vs. The Pointless

Parabrahmans. (The Advaita Assholes can play NEXT week.)

I am joining the Gravely Serious team and will focus today on

realizing the Self: I Am That. I am out to " get " the Final

Understanding and that's it. No more bullshit. No more playing

around at being a " semi-realized swami. "

Others can pick and choose (non-volitionally, of course) as is their

wont, and perhaps some will be so kind as to report as to what their

Pointless experience is like today or what their Grave Seriousness is

like today.

The winning team members will get a free one year subscription to

Maya Magazine as well as some left over prasad from Bhakti Expo 2005,

which recently took place on Staten Island.

There you go. I am 100% with you. A serious - no bullshit - kinda of

day we'll have. No half-cocked, semi-professional slight-of-the-hand

show-me-the-money day that is. ;-)
