1. The final understanding is you have understood enough, so cease from your

accumulation of knowledge and BE. Says Nis: " Any image you have of yourself is

not true. True knowledge is to abide in your own Self. "

2. " The goal is to realize the Self. " Goal might not be the best word. I don't

see realizing the Self as positing a separation. It is realizing what has

always been yet was overlooked due to conceptualizations. Nothing gained afresh.

3. Who is the dropper of the me and what is the dropped me? How many MEs are

there? There are 17 MEs! (and my Granddaughter thinks I'm not funny). Werner,

you made me think but I like you anyhow. Must go into the oft-used analogy.

Today I walked by the Atlantic Ocean. If this vastness of water thinks it is the

temporal waves which form and recede, it would create false limitations upon

itself. Not to mention fears of change and impermanence. Only one ME which drops

its identifying with limited, impermanent waves. And beyond/prior to the Ocean

is the clear sky which is attributeless, formless, subject without object.

4. Have experienced many states and non-states for varying amounts of time. But

where are these experiences now?

May all BEING be happy,

Richard

Very beautiful posting, Michael! Thanks for being with us.

My comment to #4: tomorrow will look different than today. And today

will look different tomorrow. And some things will remain the same.
