Friends,

 

Seems like my computer is picking up viruses from this group site. Anyone else

have this problem or have any suggestions?

 

So I shall probably be getting off this merry-go-round for now due to the

viruses. Thanks for all your diverse views and suggestions. They say if you

place enough monkeys in a room with enough typewriters for enough time, they

will create all the works of Shakespeare. So this monkey-mind will relinquish

his time at the typewriter for now and perhaps rejoin later when the

Shakespearian works are nearly complete.

Hi Richard,

 

Don't bother about a virus could stem from itself. It rather

stems from a person which is exchanging mails with you AND a

mail account. And that account could also be the Maharaj list when a

person is posting to it via email.

 

Those viruses are checking the infected pc for email addresses and

then per random picking one of them and using it as the new but fake

sender.

 

The virus has its own mail server and now is sending to all the other

addressees itself as a virus and using that fake sender which in your

case seemed to be which in reality was the virus using a fake

sender on a friend's pc.

 

You can leave the Niz list and and delete your account but you

still can get a virus seemingly sent by simply because it is

sitting in a friends pc and not in itself.

 

I myself got a lot of viruses sent via fake accounts but I

don't bother - I even don't need an anti-virus program to pick them

out. When an email I got has attachments with " special " suffixes

like .pif .com .exe etc, I just won't open them but delete them.

 

I hope Í could make myself clear enough
