The Pete you talk about is the Pete in your mind, that's the only Pete you know, the only Pete you can talk about, and I don't know that Pete at all, so you are the only authority on that subject. Stephen also talks about the Pete in his mind (the boogie man Pete) he fights in his dreams. Stephen is getting better, learning a bit this one and a bit from that one. If you go back to November's postings, you will see how full of himself, his beliefs, and his gurus he was. Exhorting everyone to only depend on, and quote the masters, and of course, crusading against the boogie man. Yeah, Stephen, has improved, he is more open to question his own beliefs now. But we must leave him along, he's too proud to admit he is wrong in public, or to admit he has learned anything from Werner, Lewis, or anyone else here. As far as being conscious in deep sleep, you are right, I'm not! No one is. People can fool themselves into believing they are. People can fool themselves into believing anything, just to reassure themselves about being eternal.
