Your reactionary spew was just a cheap offense, pete. And it came AS A RESULT of someone saying your post about " multinationals running the world " was silly, dare I suggest, idiotic in the extreme. There are no multinationals running the world!

Still covering your ass, eh ol' agin' petey-boy? You don't need to 'splain your multinational's post to me or anyone - it was clear enough. > Multinationals were > simply used as an opening bit to introduce the metaphor of self as > a limited corporation. I already commented upon each and every paragraph in: Nisargadatta/message/20875 so I won't delve further into it here. You've still missed what the real power BEHIND the throne is, however, and your inability (unwillingness) to discuss it indicates you're just talking through your hat again... as usual. There is 1) the real power, 2) the apparent power on the throne, and 3) the people, and all three interact with each other in law-conformable ways, yet the PEOPLE have absolutely no clue what those forces are, nor how they interrelate with each other. > I think that bugged you because you feel that > urgent need to define Bob as 'special' and a cut > apart from the ignorant masses. Dream on undisturbed, Bob. > > Regarding the BUG that crawled up your ass... My post stands on it's own - one post, and that was it. Then you posted your ad hominems against me, instead of replying to points I made (others informed you of that fact as well), so the BUG crawled even further up your butt... Then, this morning you posted your now infamous " A Cheap Defense " rant, without naming names of course (coward!), but everybody knew (and some said so) that you were concealing nothing - that your irritation was right on the surface of that post... yet you can not admit it, can you? By turning your attention back onto me - a tasteless trick, to be sure - you attempt to deflect attention away from yourself, but to no avail. Focus upon the IDEAS being presented, and not upon the person presenting them... (inkling anyone?!?) Your " intelligence " button needs a thorough polishing, and your posts need spell-checking, and grammar-checking, because you sir, have become " an easy target. " (Kind of like devi has become.) To witlessness: You wrote: " Without defining Bob as superior to others, life would not be worth leaving. " Was that ( " leaving " ) a freudian slip? Well, really Pete, nobody said this. You are fighting, fighting, fighting... but against yourself only. People are having a lot of sympathy for you here, thats why they care to comment. Sure, your columns are conglomerates of half digested knowledge borrowed here and there. Journalism with catching openings that promise something that never follows. Platitudes with a pedagogic aim. Here they are telling a lot about you and that you dare to post them: this also makes you lovely. It shows your innocence, your vulnerability. Unintentionally, but this does not matter. But then, unfortunately, you are hiding behind your stories. It really looks like here are some people who are interested in you... and not in your stories. Is this not great? Is your fear so strong that you cannot accept this at all? Instead you want us to drop our labels? Please, let us be as we are. Labels are only labels, and they create suffering only as long as you give them the power to let you suffer. Through fighting them you demonstrate your belief in them and they become only stronger and stronger. I can feel you want what all want: be loved. Then start to look at the suffering and its causes. Look at it with love and care as you would look on anybody else whom you dont want to suffer. This is all that is needed, dont be afraid.
