Aalmas' books seem a good place for beginners, but I would not read them anymore that I would a phone book.

And then there are those in whom the need to seek anything has died and take whatever comes with a tranquil mind and a grateful heart. I notice you now sign yourself as 'al,' is that a sign of progress, you think?

In fact, I do believe there is some sort of progress of maturity possible on the spiritual path, but only in a relative way if I am to believe spiritual teachers who say that what is sought is already here and now. al. The kid is the ego and dad is the Father. Spiritual growth is loss of ego. al.
