Thou art that,

Hi Lewis,

Yes that is the Nirguna Brahman,

one, changeless, without a second. Saguna

Brahman is Brahman with qualities. In the

personified form Saguna Brahman can take

the form of one's ishta devata (form of

divinity) or the Sat Guru. Jnanis also

offer worship to their chosen form as did

Nisargadatta and Ramana who saw Arunachala

as Shiva.

By the way I read that Nisargadatta was

cremated which is odd because as a rule

realised sages are buried in the Hindu

tradition.

Michael.

There is no duration to the present as it is.

Untouched by thought is to be untouched by memory.

Memory is thought is time is duration is process.

This, as is, simply: timeless, nondurational, acausal and nondivided.

It is not the perceptual image that moves from present to past, and

into present from future.

It doesn't move into somewhere else or come into being from somewhere

else - there is no somewhere else.

Stated in positive terms: awareness, totality, eternity, presence.
