Adoration

If you want to really pray,

Don't say a word.

If you want to praise God,

Say not his name.

Don't fall on your knees,

Neither stir, nor move.

Remain silent, mute,

let all language falter.

Let your presence burn,

Let your absence be His altar.

Pete

P: There you go, dear one. You have passed irony 101 with an A plus.

But..... Beware of making irony your reason for living ....

It could give you arthritis of the lower loinliness. Are your loins feeling

a little tender?

(To the holy hypocrites)

(And the half dead)

If you want to really pray,

Let your mouth stutter.

If you want to praise God,

Fall on your knees

Fall to the ground

Fall onto the mother

That once gave you birth.

Let it wince and tremble

Dance and whirl

Whatever is going to happen

In front of Gods face.

Let it cry and weep

laugh and scream

Allow this living clay

To be as living clay

Is meant to be

In front of Gods face.
