What Bush and the neocons say when they say " God Bless America " , what they are saying, in effect, is this: " Lord, grant us the strength and the fortitude and above all, the military might, that we can go into foreign countries (or at least the ones who have a lot of oil under the ground), depose their evil leaders, and spread your favorite form of government, democracy, all over their lands. And in the meantime, Lord, keep the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq, in your beloved care. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Of course there will be U.S. interest and power to the government messages, but these messages will also have to resonate with many U.S. citizens and also with many people in the rest of the world. There's a zoo out there, and sometimes we need people like Bush. But I also believe that people like Eckhart Tolle are the true leaders for humanity. Although we must remember that Tolle has no large country to be responsible for, so it's much easier for him to deliver sharp messages to the world than it is for W. Bush. al. I am not for W. Bush, because I don't think war is a very smart idea. But I also see that I don't know the whole picture. I agree with David Icke who says that we have to peace for peace, not fight for peace. And the first thing to do, I believe, is to find peace within oneself.
