Guest guest
What happens when someone labels mystical experiences, states, insights etc. and then concludes he/she is self-realized and gives himself a silly tittle such as enlightened, or God-realized, or what not? That someone has placed himself in a golden straightjacket. She has limited freedom with a bunch of expectations. Now she would be tempted to evaluate all her perceptions and responses by that standard of enlightenment, and most likely would loose the two main benefits of being liberated: Freedom and spontaneity. So unless, someone is planning to go into the guru business, or the pull of vanity proves irresistible, it is best to leave any blessings that might come ones way unlabeled and unpublished. Let others judge us, if they feel so inclined, by our words and our actions. When existence flows unnamed and undefined that is the highest blessing, what the ancient Chinese hinted at as The Way. Guest guest
I sense one can feel the straighjacket one is trapped in, both as a mental field and also as a physical numbed cramp throughout the whole body. When the numbness that hides the straightjacket begins to fade the cramp begins to surface. al Sounds like a whole lot of suffering going on. Can't win...it's either the straightjacket, or the cramp. Take your pick. Faithe

The " youness " happens when consciousness becomes aware of itself.......and identifies with conceptual limitation. It is a phantom that tries to escape from its own imaginary straightjacket. The straightjacket cannot see its self. toombaru
