Guest guest
There is a belief, in some who are in the know, that everything in the life of man - that is, all that which is a direct product of mankind, and his ever-evolving civilization - is an example of the way his consciousness operates, and not only an example, but an OBVIOUS, quite in-your-face example, and could one but see it when it's happening, he would learn more about his own consciousness, than any book, any person could ever teach him. In this way, alone, can the idea - often told, but rarely understood - that Life is the best teacher, be seen to be true, because without Life existing on this planet, there would be no humans, and without humans, there would be no cerebral cortexes capable of conscious thought, and without thought there would be no civilization... period. The only >>real<< knowing is that " possessed " by Life itself, all else is belief, and unknowing. Humans - unlike every creature on this planet - have the potential capacity to >>know what Life knows<<, and furthermore, only a few humans here and there, can describe it to other men. This " knowing " which can be described to other men, is unlike the kind of " knowing " you believe you currently possess, because it is entirely impersonal in every way, whereas the kind you believe you currently possess is personal in every way. Just a thought. Not!!
