Hi ciphra,

My idea of silence is that in ordinary life we tend to spend much of

our awareness in our own thoughts which makes us less aware of what is

happening around us, and also this constant preoccupation with an

inner thought-world - hovering about one's personal past and future -

acts as a filter, as a pair of muddy-colored glasses through which one

perceive the world. Silence would then be the clearing up of these

glasses by healing the crude separation between " me " and " the world " .

Maybe some spanking could beat the crap out my mind. But I prefer a

milder path to wisdom and clarity. :)

Fine, Pete,

I am just pondering whom else we could put on the list.

Its a funny idea to travel arround the world beating up Niz members

we consider a bit to intellectual. Maybe afterwards we both will

return again with broken noses but sacrífices have to be given for

the sake of truth.

Werner .. man in black.

Hi, Ciphra. I am very new to the group, too. :)

Ok........You asked for it.

You are never going to " get it " .

If you get it.........It gets you.......and you disappear........

Got it?

toombaru

Oh yeah........Nisargadatta discouraged any discussion about what came through

him.....

If discussion helped.......do you think any us old timers would still be

here?.....
