Guest guest
The Media has proclaimed that the masses of the faithful are clamoring for John Paul II sanctification. In the Roman Catholic THD hierarchy, God is top dog, followed by the Son, and the Holy Spirit (of course, these are understood to be one being acting three roles) then comes the rank of the saints (glorified dead humans). The pope was top holy dog on Earth, but now, he is no longer top human doggie in Heaven. This, of course, is not acceptable to his fans. It would be reasonable to ask, if this heavenly pecking order really exist, why are not the three persons of the Trinity in charge of the selection of new saints? Why are living cardinals and the pope in charge? Is this not an indication that the whole thing is a mental game? And if you agree, and are glad you are not a gullible Catholic, just wait a holy minute. You probably have a Hindu or Buddhist top holy doggie hierarchy you believe in. Or maybe a new age, Theosophical, or even personal variation. Yes, if you are here reading this, you most probably believe you have a shot at the top title, you think you could be a contender, and that one day, your guru, or even yourself would give you that top doggie black belt. Maybe you even believe you are already a top doggie of your own particular religious division. Woof! Woof! You go boy! Pete

The Trinity gives Divine inspiration to the cardinals and the Pope and so bless them with the power and benediction to select new saints. > > And if you agree, and are glad you are not a gullible > Catholic, just wait a holy minute. I still don't know if that is higher or lower than #1. al.
