Take your power back

Your manipulated and socially conditioned mind has you under its

spell. If that part of you was a good authority then the problem would

not be so severe. The problem is that it's a lousy authority. It's a

tyrant pulling your strings.

Just ask yourself how you feel, and you will know what I am talking about.

Take your power back. You don't need _any_ authority to tell you what

to do.

And when you get all that power back....reach down.... grab your own

bootstraps..... and

pull your self up in to the sky.

Myself? I am the tyrant. See?

What did J. Krishnamurti say about authority, inner and outer? What

did he say about learning? Are we learning?

this path of division is a route to a split personality. these social

conditionings are you, as you are now. there is no mind separate from

you. mind is the dynamic expression of the memory.

life force cannot express without a psychic apparatus,, neither does

it have to, or need to. the person is the psychic apparatus. it is the

person who expresses, and accumulates karma. the life force is the

same for everybody.

to take your power back you have to slowly tame the will. in the words

of the yoga sutra, the memory has to be cleansed.

till then, you need speed limits to prevent making a fool of yourself.

Tame the will. That was an interesting expression. Maybe one can learn

to have less harsh thoughts. The thinking mind is often violent, and

without speed limits it runs away into all kinds of mischiefs.

Therefore we are often afraid of making fools of ourselves. The

thinking mind is afraid of itself. And it should be. Fear is needed to

moderate the thinking mind as long as it has a tendency to run away

too far into its own thought-world. The border between suppression and

taming is a thin line. One has to let conflict heal in a patient manner.

yoga sutras (and siva sutras) describe the evolution of consciousness,

and ones understanding of them evolves .

i have found them to be an excellent guide in some places, and

irrelevant and confusing in others. your mileage may vary.
