That's because, like fuzzie, I'm old and dumb and full of cum.

Not! Well, let's put it this way, as my ol buddy, Meatloaf used to

say, " two out of three ain't bad. "

Oh bullshit! I loved you first. Before Abraham was, I am. (I think

you arrived on the scene much later than that.

But not to split hairs. I stretch out my astral arms to you and give

you a big fat Greek air hug.

Hey, Pete, duck! The pound of shit is about to hit the (Niz.) fan!!

Ex uno disce omnes! Excelsior!

Alright, Mr. NutEProfessor :)

Since we are talking about clinging,

Teflon pans, anger, fear;

and I don't think anyone would deny that

they desire a little

appreciation now and again, and sometimes

not in the mood to have

brickbats thrown at them,

I am reminded of one of many conversations

or 'walkings' with my very dear friend, Sandeep,

in a particular one about seeking love,

approval, appreciation, or avoiding brickbats,

I said this phrase:

" It's not what they call you, it's what you

answer to. "

Subsequently, he wrote this:

It's not what they call you. It's what you answer to.

And " answer to " , may remain speechless,

but an internal " stewing " is also an " answer to "

Rain drops sliding down window panes.

No dust on the window pane, no " answer to "

No dust, ..........no puddle of mud, no wound.

If I do not seek your respect in the first place,

how can you insult or demean me?

If I have no wish to win, how can I be ever defeated?

Just sliding droplets, running smoothly down.

Byron Katie Work also focuses quite a bit on this,

(in fact her new book has those three words in the title,

and is a book about relationships).... she

says,

" If I had a prayer, it would be this:

God spare me from the desire for love, approval

and appreciation. "

So, if I post on a list, it is really not 'my' business

whether it is of value to someone, or not of

value to someone.

Once upon a time, on a list far, far away,

a poster posted a post asking for some advice.

Six or seven people responded on list, me

included. The poster responded on list to

all of them except mine. I wrote to her and

asked her why she had nothing to say about mine.

I had imagined that she didn't think it was

any good. She wrote back and said that my

post was the one that she saved. Now, that

may or may have not been true, but I realized

that day, that I can never really know the extent or lack

of extent that the doings that come through me

have....and

it is really none of my business,

even though it is nice to be appreciated, or to

know if efforts are any good, for encouragement

or for constructive constructive criticism...it is

not essential to receive any of it.

And for god's sake, I raised teenagers....

love? approval? appreciation?

WHAT'S THAT???

LOL

Yes , its that easy. It all is our play unfolding

before our senses. Yes. To look at things just as they

are without the mind judging is realy seeing

everything for what is.The bible says it all in the

first chapter on creation, god created the heavens and

the earth and everything in-between and saw that it

was good.Yes.It is very good.

Nothing can be seen without the mind judging and comparing.

Nothing can be seen for what it is.........

.............for one very simple reason.

When you realize that you are not the mind no thing is

seen as seperate from who you are.

Trying to get somewhere keeps you from seeing that you

are everywhere.............Douglas

For our species and from our perspective we use our 5

senses to know the manifested world. We then use our

minds and thought to interpet these sensory

perceptions into likes and dislikes or good and bad.

The switch is when seeing happens in presence without

the past mental images telling you how to perceive the

senses and they are experienced as they are and

accepted totaly as " it is as it is " .Its in that moment

that you know everything and you know nothing. This is

it right now and its all god .

Of course this is all conceptual B.S. but we do need

something to talk about my friend. Peace, Douglas...
